The groundhog says spring will be early and I swear that I can hear the entire northeast whispering "Hooray!" after what has been a tough winter so far. We had a snow day here but the promised storm has not been as bad as predicted, at least here in suburban Buffalo. Lucky for me that a sweet he-man showed up to clear the snow off my drive and sidewalks. He knows that I am under the weather and graciously took on a few hours of work to make sure the snow was completely removed.

My Beautiful Hometown!
Check out this video from the Buffalo Niagara Visitors and Convention Bureau on the delights of my beautiful city: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT11IdWPvfc
I had the pleasure of visiting one of the galleries in this video last night. Several artists have a consortium to show their work monthly downtown in Allentown. I bought someone a Christmas present there, but I cannot divulge who it is for . . . . yet!

High Line

If you are planning a trip to New York City, you may want to take a trip along the High Line, a linear park toward lower west side in Manhattan. It is such a unique destination in any season. Where else might you encounter the High Line Serenade Cabaret? The photos are from the High Line's own website. You can see more at: http://www.thehighline.org/.
